Rise Above Defeat employs evidence-based approaches to our mindset coaching, providing therapeutic tools to address negative thinking, unhealthy behaviors and self-criticism. Our methodology includes ongoing resources and coping mechanisms that promote continued inner healing.

The demographic Rise Above Defeat serves are individuals living at or below the poverty line. Rise Above Defeat is passionate about equipping individuals to rise above limiting beliefs so they can live productive lives.
We provide individual and group coaching to youth and adults remotely, ages 12 & up and at a fraction of the cost. Our evidence-based approach to providing life coaching/ mentorship has led to improved access and improved mental fitness in underserved communities.
Mental fitness is important
Studies indicate that mental health care is accessible to roughly 70 percent of communities across the United States, however only 14 percent of communities living at or below the poverty line have the mental health services that are needed. The minimal access to mental health services is amid even more staggering statistics that indicate one of the most common mental health disorders in the United States is major depression.
The disparity of mental health services worsens among youth and adolescents in the United States living in poverty where 21% of youth and children as young 6 to 17 years old have a mental health disorder.
Rise Above Defeat also refers out to Licensed Therapist when needed. Rise Above Defeat exist to make mental fitness coaching accessible to individuals and in communities that need it the most.
